This energetic position offers the opportunity to provide compassionate patient care while ensuring accurate and efficient specimen collection for diagnostic testing. As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will be the friendly face of our organization, bringing essential medical services to diverse populations and making a real difference in patient health outcomes.
Pay:
The pay for this position is $30/per lab draw (per patient) and paid every 16th of the month

Must own a vehicle Current and active drivers license Up to date with car insurance, registration and safety check Responsibilities Perform blood sampling and other specimen collection procedures using venipuncture and capillary techniques with precision and adherence to aseptic methods. Collect, handle, and process specimens according to laboratory protocols, ensuring specimen integrity and proper labeling for accurate testing results. Obtain vital signs and assess patient physiology to ensure safe and effective collection procedures, especially when working with geriatrics and pediatric populations. Maintain detailed documentation of all procedures within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, including data entry of patient information and specimen details. Provide exceptional patient service by explaining procedures clearly, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort throughout the collection process. Follow laboratory procedures and techniques diligently while adhering to safety standards such as basic life support (BLS), CPR certification, and infection control practices. Maitain proper body mechanics to prevent injury as needed during mobile visits. Skills Extensive knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and clinical laboratory practices related to blood sampling and specimen handling. Proven experience in phlebotomy, venipuncture, and blood sampling across diverse patient groups including pediatrics and geriatrics. Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to specimen collection. Familiarity with hospital or clinical environments, including EMR/EHR systems for accurate data entry and record keeping. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on customer service, empathy, and effective communication. Ability to perform venipuncture confidently using aseptic technique while maintaining safety standards such as BLS/CPR certification. Physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing or walking during mobile visits. Knowledge of laboratory techniques related to specimen collection, processing, storage, and transportation.
