Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health. Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and specimen collection accurately and efficiently. Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to oncology patients of all ages. Identify and properly label, handle, and process specimens according to established standards. Monitor patients during and after blood draws and respond appropriately to concerns or complications. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely specimen delivery to the laboratory. Collaborate with nurses, providers, laboratory staff, and the broader care team to support quality patient care.Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or GED Must be 18 years oldExperience:
Previous phlebotomy experience in a healthcare setting is preferred Successful completion of a phlebotomy, MA or EMT course is preferredBenefits
