IMA Clinical Research is hiring an Evening Clinical Research Assistant (Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist) to support patients through clinical trials — a great fit for med techs, phlebotomy-certified techs, or nursing students who want real patient-care hours that don't conflict with daytime classes or clinicals. Schedule 3-4 evening shifts per week, 6:00 PM
  • Midnight Occasional weekend shifts A predictable evening block that pairs well with morning/afternoon coursework or clinical rotations Must be available and flexible to meet study needs What You'll Do Welcome and guide patients through their clinical trial visits Collect vitals, EKGs, and patient interview data Perform phlebotomy and process lab specimens accurately Support scheduling, documentation, and regulatory compliance Partner with study teams to keep trials running smoothly and on schedule What You Bring High school diploma (required) Enrolled in or completed a nursing, med tech, or medical assisting program — OR 6+ months of medical office experience Phlebotomy experience or certification a plus (great opportunity to grow this skill) A sharp eye for detail and a genuine patient-first mindset Bilingual English/Spanish a plus Flexibility for evening and occasional weekend shifts Reliable transportation for the midnight shift end Why Join Us Build real clinical trial experience that stands out on nursing/med tech applications 401(k) with company match Paid time off and paid holidays Tuition reimbursement and student loan repayment assistance A tight-knit team that values your growth in clinical research The IMA Group is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer Our Government Services Division supports local, state, and federal agencies and delivers professional and objective medical and psychological examinations as well as ancillary services.
