• One year or more phlebotomy work experience
• Full-time (8:30am-5:00pm) Monday thru Friday
• rotating Saturday (6:00am-12:00pm) About the job In this role, the Phlebotomist uses approved techniques to collect quality biological samples for laboratory testing from all patient populations (pediatric through geriatric); and performs electrocardiograms (EKG's) for cardiology interpretation, all while focusing on the needs of the patient and exemplifying the service excellence goals of care, concern, respect and cooperation.

Required:

High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education Less than one year of previous job-related experience

Licensure/Certifications Preferred:

CPR

• American Heart Association (AHA) Phlebotomy certification
• Certifying agencies: ASPT
• American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians, NCCT
• National Center for Competency Testing, NHA
• National Healthcare Association (CPT), NPA
