In this role, you will be responsible for performing blood draws and specimen collection at various locations, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process. The ideal candidate will possess strong laboratory experience, excellent patient service skills, and a thorough understanding of phlebotomy techniques. Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and blood sampling with precision and care. Collect and process specimens in accordance with established laboratory procedures. Maintain aseptic technique to prevent contamination during specimen collection. Provide exceptional patient care by ensuring a comfortable and reassuring environment. Document all procedures accurately in compliance with medical terminology standards. Monitor and record vital signs as necessary before and after specimen collection. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient service. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in mobile work areas. Requirements Proven experience in phlebotomy, including blood sampling and specimen processing. Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and medical terminology. Clinical laboratory experience with an understanding of physiology and anatomy. Excellent patient service skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism. Ability to perform vital signs monitoring effectively. Familiarity with hospital environments is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols diligently. Must possess valid certification or licensure in phlebotomy as required by state regulations.
