We are looking for a dependable, organized professional who enjoys helping patients and working closely with a medical team. Perform EKGs and audiograms; administer injections and pediatric and adult vaccinations as directed by a provider and within authorized training and scope. Assist providers with patient examinations and treatments. Obtain patient histories, measure vital signs, and accurately document information in electronic medical records. Prepare examination rooms, restock supplies, and clean and sterilize instruments as required. Maintain required logs and safety checks, including refrigerator temperatures, medication expiration dates, emergency supplies, and instrument sterilization. Process prescription refill requests and communicate prescription information to pharmacies as directed by a physician. Provide patient instructions as directed by the treating provider. Ensure laboratory results, reports, and other records are available before appointments. Handle telephone messages and respond to patient, provider, and pharmacy inquiries within the responsibilities of the role. Help maintain a clean, organized office and properly functioning equipment. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager. Qualifications Russian language proficiency required to communicate with Russian-speaking patients. High school diploma or equivalent. Medical assistant certificate and relevant clinical experience. Experience performing blood draws and preparing laboratory specimens. Accurate typing skills of at least 40 words per minute. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy office. Excellent customer service, telephone etiquette, and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, professional approach to patient care. Ability to follow provider instructions, established procedures, and patient confidentiality requirements.
