Your energetic approach and commitment to excellent customer service will ensure accurate sample collection, proper specimen handling, and adherence to all safety and confidentiality protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine clinical expertise with mobility, making a positive impact on patient care and laboratory operations. Duties Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection using aseptic techniques across diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and patients requiring specialized procedures like spinal taps or cardiac catheterization. Manage biological samples with precision, ensuring proper labeling, processing, and timely transportation to the laboratory while maintaining specimen integrity. Operate and troubleshoot Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) for accurate data entry, tracking specimens, and documenting collection details in compliance with CLIA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and maintain a compassionate, professional demeanor that fosters trust and comfort. Follow strict laboratory procedures and safety protocols related to specimen handling, maintaining patient confidentiality at all times. Collaborate with hospital staff, research teams, or veterinary professionals as needed to support various laboratory management activities. Maintain a clean, organized mobile collection environment while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control standards. Qualifications

Proven experience in medical laboratory work, phlebotomy, or clinical laboratory procedures with a strong understanding of laboratory techniques and anatomy knowledge. Certification or training in phlebotomy, basic life support (BLS), and familiarity with CLIA regulations governing laboratory practices. Knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, veterinary terminology (if applicable), and laboratory information systems (LIS). Experience with specimen collection/processing methods including venipuncture, spinal taps, and catheterization procedures such as cardiac catheterization.

$25.77 - $31.04 per hour
