Phlebotomist Full Time Ellipse Diagnostics - 5.0 Mishawaka, IN Job Details Full-time $19 - $23 an hour 8 hours ago Benefits Paid training Paid time off Qualifications Vascular access Customer communication High school diploma or GED Clinical data entry Quality data entry Full Job Description About Us Ellipse Diagnostics is a clinical laboratory specializing in toxicology testing, with a growing blood-testing menu. We partner with physicians, behavioral health providers, and treatment programs to deliver accurate, fast results that help patients get the care they need. We're a small, hands-on team, and we're looking for a dependable phlebotomist to join us in Mishawaka. What You'll Do Perform venipuncture and capillary collections on adult patients with care and professionalism Collect, label, and process urine, oral fluid, and blood specimens according to lab protocols Verify patient identity and requisition/order information before every collection Maintain chain-of-custody documentation where required Centrifuge, aliquot, package, and prepare specimens for transport to the lab Enter patient and specimen data accurately into our lab information system Keep collection areas clean, stocked, and compliant with OSHA and infection-control standards Communicate with clients and patients courteously; escalate issues quickly Follow CLIA, HIPAA, and company safety and quality policies What We're Looking For Required High school diploma or GED Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program Phlebotomy certification (NHA
CPT, ASCP PBT, AMT
RPT, or equivalent) — or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire Strong venipuncture skills and a calm, patient-first approach Attention to detail and accurate data entry Reliable transportation and punctuality Preferred 1+ year of phlebotomy experience in a lab, clinic, or hospital setting Experience with toxicology or drug-testing collections and chain of custody Experience with an LIS or EMR system Current BLS/CPR certification Benefits Competitive hourly pay ($21-$24/hr) Consistent weekday schedule — no nights Paid time off Paid training Room to grow with an expanding lab How to Apply Apply through Indeed with your resume.
