Metairie LAWork Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, additional days and hours may be required
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise a team of (+25) phlebotomists working in Patient Service Centers and/or physician's officesManage patient flow, wait times, and inventory levels and information logsMonitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessaryCoordinate phlebotomists' schedules through resourceful and creative thinkingPerform operational duties such as payroll, monthly schedules and performance appraisalsPartner with Human Resources regarding employee relations issues and disciplinary actionsHire and train phlebotomists to fill any open positionsCommunicate effectively to internal and external customers including patients, client office staff, sales team, logistics and senior managementProvide exceptional customer service to all patients and clientsAssist in the set-up of new Patient Service Centers or Client OfficesProvide resolution of any patient or client issuesPerform, collect and prepare specimens when neededTravel to additional sites as necessary
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED or equivalent1 year or more experience in a supervisory or people leader position3 years or more experience as a phlebotomist
Preferred Qualifications:
3 year or more experience in a supervisory or people leader position5 years or more experience as a phlebotomist
Additional Job Standards:
