Job Description:

Our very busy Family Practice clinic is seeking an experienced phlebotomist to add to our team. The individual must be a team player and be able to multitask between collecting specimens from patients, running waived laboratory tests, and processing specimens to be sent to the reference laboratory. The individual must be able to adhere to policies and procedures, understand instructions (both verbal and written), and have attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS

Computer experience and some knowledge of medical terminology is needed. Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must complete a phlebotomy training program or equivalent (phlebotomy certification should be from an approved agency by the Louisiana State Board of Examiners.)
