Do you have a passion for teaching? 3 years working experience in a full laboratory setting as a phlebotomist required. CCA Phlebotomy curriculum focuses very heavily on Laboratory Processing and also on blood draw technique.

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Phlebotomy Technician Instructor will be instructing adult students in a combination of practical and theoretical setting.

Basic duties include:

classroom instruction, tutoring, and student retention. The Phlebotomy Technician Instructor shall offer instruction and supervision of students in classroom .

QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of three years of work experience within your field providing direct patient care.
• Graduated from a Post-Secondary school in Phlebotomy Technician, Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, or equivalent. We require official transcripts as proof of education.
• Teaching or Training experience is a plus; however, we are willing to train the right individuals.
• Experience and comfort in communicating with adults from other nations, cultures and ethnic groups.
• Must hold a current certification within your field.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well with students, faculty, staff and the community.
