Job Description

Pediatric Health Care Associates is a large, pediatric, group practice on the North Shore of Boston. We are looking for a phlebotomist to join our team! Job Description Your role is to provide phlebotomy and point-of-care testing services under the direction of the Lab Manager. The Phlebotomist will perform daily testing accurately while maintaining a safe and professional environment. The phlebotomist collects clinical specimens and performs point-of-care testing following established practices and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Professional customer service
  • Pediatric Phlebotomy
  • Maintain required records and documentation
  • Order Entry
  • Point of Care Testing
  • Be organized and dependable
Qualifications:
  • Phlebotomy experience (see required experience)
  • Medical Assistants (applications accepted if experience requirement is met)
  • Competency in infection control procedures and preventative practices
Required Experience:
  • Minimum of one year of continuous phlebotomy experience is preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills are imperative
  • Proficient computer and technology skills
  • Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Must have reliable transportation -Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

Schedule:
Day shift, with one evening shift per week. Weekend and Holiday requirement. Travel to one of our several office locations required (Lynn, Peabody, Stoneham, Salem, Melrose), must have reliable transportation
