Job Summary:
Performs drug, alcohol, and functional tests for donors.Essential Functions:
Performs drug screen. May perform collections following DOT specimen collections guidelines, which includes direct observation and possible oral swab sample collection. May perform breath alcohol testing following DOT alcohol testing guidelines. May perform hair collections following Psychemedics guidelines. May perform pulmonary function testing using systems/instruments following OSHA Guidelines, Audio metric hearing, vision examinations, blood pressure checks, respiratory fit testing following OSHA Guidelines for quantitative fit testing, or lab work requiring blood draws. Performs other related duties as assigned.Essential Qualifications:
High school diploma. Valid Drivers License. Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office Suite. DOT Certified Urine Specimen Collector or must obtain certification within two (2) weeks from date of hire. DOT EBT (Evidential Breath Testing) Certified or must obtain certification within two (2) weeks from date of hire. Hair Collection Training Certificate or must obtain within two (2) weeks from date of hire. Computer skills including a basic skill level in Microsoft Office.Preferred Qualifications:
Nurse Assistant, Medical Technician, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy or other related certifications preferred. Experience in drug testing, breath alcohol testing, pulmonary function testing or fit testing applications preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.Physical Requirements:
Speak, read and write fluently in English. Sight and hearing. Walk, sit, stand, use hands, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms. Lift up to forty (40) pounds frequently. Climb stairs and jump or climb from a dock to a boat frequently. Compensation for this role is determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, training, and internal equity.
