Position Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist II to join their team The ideal candidate will have experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced laboratory or hospital environment while maintaining exceptional patient care and specimen integrity.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Performing venipuncture and specimen collection
  • Processing and preparing specimens for testing
  • Managing and coordinating specimen drop-offs for the client
  • Providing excellent patient service while maintaining quality and compliance standards We are seeking candidates with at least two years of phlebotomy experience, as this role requires working independently as the sole phlebotomist at the site.
Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 6 months of recent phlebotomy experience in a hospital or high-volume laboratory setting. Overall 2-4 years of healthcare/phlebotomy experience preferred. Proficiency in venipuncture using straight and butterfly needles. Experience processing and handling laboratory specimens. Basic Microsoft Office skills. Strong communication and patient care skills. Valid Phlebotomy Certification if required by state regulations
