Schedule:
Days; availability required between 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM Why This Role Matters As a Phlebotomist, you play a vital role in delivering an exceptional patient experience while ensuring accurate specimen collection and processing. As a float position, you'll support multiple locations, bringing flexibility, professionalism, and expertise wherever needed to help maintain quality patient care and laboratory operations. What You'll Do Collect blood specimens through venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric collections Perform specimen processing and preparation for laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures Verify patient identification, demographic information, and specimen labeling accuracy Obtain patient signatures following venipuncture to confirm specimen labeling verification Maintain accurate records and required documentation Travel to and support multiple patient service center and in-office locations as needed Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and professional environment Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection duties following established procedures Promote a positive image with patients, clients, employees, and the public What We're Looking For A current, up-to-date resume High school diploma or equivalent Three years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections Minimum two years of Patient Service Center experience preferred Excellent phlebotomy skills and specimen handling experience Strong professionalism and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred Keyboard and data entry experience Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred Phlebotomy certification preferred Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and willingness to travel daily between locations Flexible availability for weekends, holidays, overtime, and changing schedules based on business needs Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment Ability to meet compliance requirements What's In It For You Competitive weekly pay at $28/hr Opportunity to work across multiple healthcare settings and patient populations Exposure to a variety of specimen collection procedures and workplace environments Supportive team culture focused on quality, safety, and patient care Opportunity to expand your healthcare experience and professional skill set Potential pathway to long-term employment and career growth Benefits for Manpower Associates (Upon Eligibility) Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for: Medical and Prescription Drug Plans Dental Plan Supplemental Life Insurance Short Term Disability Insurance 401(k)
