This energetic position involves traveling to various sites to perform blood sampling and specimen collection with precision and compassion. Your expertise will ensure accurate specimen processing, support clinical laboratory operations, and enhance patient experiences through professional and friendly service. Responsibilities Travel to patient locations, including homes, clinics, and hospitals, to perform blood draws and specimen collection efficiently and safely Obtain accurate patient information, explain procedures clearly, and ensure patient comfort throughout the process Collect blood samples using venipuncture techniques while maintaining strict aseptic and safety protocols Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration when required for comprehensive patient assessment Properly label, handle, and transport specimens to ensure integrity and compliance with laboratory standards Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed, patient interactions, and specimen tracking in electronic or paper records Follow all laboratory procedures and adhere to healthcare regulations to ensure quality control and patient safety Qualifications Proven experience in laboratory procedures, techniques, or clinical laboratory settings with a focus on phlebotomy and specimen collection Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and laboratory techniques relevant to blood sampling and venipuncture Prior hospital or healthcare facility experience is highly desirable Excellent patient service skills with the ability to care for diverse populations in various settings Familiarity with aseptic technique to prevent contamination during specimen collection Ability to accurately identify anatomical landmarks for venipuncture and perform blood sampling efficiently Valid certification in phlebotomy or related laboratory practice preferred; relevant training or coursework required Good communication skills with an understanding of medical terminology and patient care protocols Embark on a rewarding career that combines mobility with meaningful patient interaction.
