Examiners are responsible for in-home insurance exams for clients who have recently applied for insurance.Exams will include the following:
obtaining blood and urine specimens, vital signs, medical history, weight, and measurements. This is a contract position allowing you to make and work your own schedule.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
1. Contacts clients for scheduling at their home, work place, or other specified location 2. Maintains an updated and accurate exam calendar 3. Performs professional exams of clients 4. Punctual for exam appointments 5. Records paperwork into system within 24 hours of examination 6. Ships lab specimens within 24 hours of examination 7. Stays in regular communication with office personnel of changes in schedule or issues that need to be resolvedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Recent phlebotomy experience (1 year) (100 draws)
- Current driver license and proof of current auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills, tact, professionalism, and courtesy
- Proficiency in manual blood pressure readings
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Examiners must be able to provide the following:- Manual Blood Pressure Cuff
- Stethoscope
- Scale
- Computer/Tablet
- Printer
REQUIRED EDUCATION
- High school or equivalent (preferred)
REQUIRED LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION
- Driver's License Required
- Phlebotomy license/certification
