Summary The Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant position at Midwest innovation laboratory in the US plays a crucial role in supporting our healthcare team by providing exceptional patient care and administrative support. This role is vital to our mission of delivering high-quality diagnostic services and ensuring a seamless patient experience. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records. Administer medications and monitor patients' vital signs. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families. Assist in the intake process by gathering patient information. Utilize EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient data. Support urgent care operations as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and basic life support techniques. Experience in hospital or urgent care settings is highly desirable. Proficiency in EHR systems and patient management software is a plus. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
