Hrs Requirements:

Experience as a phlebotomist (less than one year of experience accepted). Strong venipuncture and specimen collection skills. Willingness to work alternating weekends and holidays. Experience with EPIC is preferred. Montana state license not required.

Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for patients of all ages. Accurately label, process, and transport specimens according to laboratory protocols. Maintain patient safety and comfort while providing exceptional customer service. Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards. Document patient and specimen information using the EPIC electronic medical record system. Collaborate with laboratory staff and healthcare providers to ensure timely specimen collection. Float to hospital-based clinics as needed.
