Summary We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our dynamic team at Carolina Internal Medicine Associates. In this role, you will be responsible for performing venipunctures and blood sampling while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. Your contributions will be vital in supporting our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare. Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and blood sampling with precision and care. Maintain aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures. Provide excellent patient service by explaining procedures and addressing concerns. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely lab results. Document all procedures accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system. Assist in maintaining laboratory supplies and equipment as needed. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in the clinical setting. Requirements Proven experience as a phlebotomist or in a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication. Familiarity with aseptic techniques and blood collection procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
