The right candidate is highly motivated and caring, has previous medical assisting experience, and enjoys interacting with patients and office visitors. Our women's health private practice has offices in Raleigh, Garner, and Fuquay-Varina. This role is primarily for our GARNER office. Learn more about us at www.carolinaelitewomen.com. Responsibilities Take and record patients' medical histories and vitals Prep exam rooms for clinical procedures and routine visits Perform data entry in athenahealth to document the patient record Monitor storage and inventory of office supplies Prepare and administer medications under the direction of the supervising provider Adhere to laboratory safety policies and procedures Assist providers during exams Assist in the recovery of patients with adverse reactions Skills Proficient in patient care techniques and procedures Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording patient information Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently Education High school diploma or GED required Completion of a Medical Assisting program preferred Licensure/Certification Medical Assistant Certification preferred Additional Requirements Prior Medical Assistant experience Phlebotomy experience preferred Ability to build rapport with patients Familiarity with electronic medical records software and equipment Exceptional attention to detail Benefits Medical Vision Dental, 401(k) with company match

Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm / Friday 8:00am-12:00pm
