Duties Collect blood samples through venipuncture using aseptic techniques to ensure specimen integrity. On the job training for Port- a- cath placement and peripheral IV placement. Prepare specimens accurately for laboratory testing, ensuring proper labeling, handling, and documentation. Maintain patient comfort and safety during specimen collection by providing clear instructions and compassionate care. Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for data entry and updating patient information efficiently. Collect and monitor vital signs, demonstrating knowledge of physiology and anatomy. Follow laboratory procedures and techniques to uphold quality standards and compliance with safety protocols.
