Hours worked will vary. Great pay. Bonuses given. Phlebotomist must own or have access to a centrifuge to process the specimen.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm is the window to collect the specimen. Once specimen are shipped they will be shipped via Fed Ex or LabCorp or delivered to local Quest or LabCorp. (Some weekend work may be possible)Position Summary:
The Mobile Phlebotomist aims to serve patients by properly preparing specimens for laboratories testing and performing screening standards. The Phlebotomist shall draw quality blood samples and/or collect other specimens while creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence in the patient's home or physician's office.Position Responsibilities:
Duties may include but are not necessarily limited to the following: Using superior customer service, greet customers appropriately, show proper identification and only when told enter home with all proper PPE. Successful completing blood draws, collecting specimens, properly labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, and updating patient information. Set up area for collection. Collects specimens according to established procedures. Properly explains in a clear but courteous manner the process of the venipuncture (blood drawing) and or other specimen collection (ex. urine or fecal) as required. Reduces patient anxiety by providing a calm environment for patients before, during and after the collection process. Demonstrate technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles. Fully understand all of the physicians' orders. Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes. Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order. Ship specimen to the correct laboratory. Check all test requisitions or computer label against script to ensure 100% correct. Stores specimen sample according to required temperature, places samples in appropriate collection container/ tube, accurately labels, follows different procedures as outlined by specific to protocol deemed necessary for transport to maintain integrity of the specimen. Transports specimen to proper drop off location. Understand and comply with OSHA regulations.Education:
High School Diploma or GED Certificate of Completion for approved Phlebotomy program or on-the-job training is acceptable. New students welcome to apply. Valid Phlebotomy Certification for the state where you will be employed as required. Relevant work experience without Certification is acceptable. Orientation will be provided.Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a physician office, mobile, or hospital setting Superior customer service skills, clear and audible voice, ability to show empathy and proper level of concern and care Excellent communication skills and delivery of exceptional patient care Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license issued in the state of residence. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and email Must be flexible with work schedulePreferred Qualifications:
