June 15, 2026 Full-Time On-site Locations Showing 1 location Woodsville, NH 03785, USA Job Details Description Are you a skilled, compassionate, and detail-oriented phlebotomist looking to make a meaningful impact in your community? Cottage Hospital is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory team. In this role, you'll be responsible for collecting blood and other specimens, ensuring accurate patient identification and specimen handling, and supporting laboratory operations that help drive high-quality patient care. You'll interact with patients of all ages, providing a positive and professional experience while helping ensure timely and accurate test results. We're looking for someone who is organized, dependable, customer-focused, and able to thrive in a collaborative healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood specimens through venipuncture and capillary puncture techniques
  • Verify patient identification and ensure proper specimen labeling and handling
  • Educate and assist patients with collection of urine, stool, and other specimens
  • Transport and deliver specimens according to hospital and laboratory protocols
  • Maintain laboratory supplies and assist with inventory management
  • Follow infection prevention, safety, and PPE requirements
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, providers, and staff
  • Perform waived testing as appropriate
  • Support quality assurance and quality control processes
  • Assist with orientation and mentoring of new team members
  • Collaborate effectively with nursing, medical, clerical, and allied health staff
