Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients, The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology, possess excellent communication skills, and be proficient in venipuncture techniques. This position is for Mon thru Fri, 5:30 to 12:30

Duties:

• Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples from patients
• Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and ensure accurate labeling
• Maintain proper documentation of all procedures and patient information
• Follow strict protocols and maintain aseptic technique during blood collection
• Monitor vital signs of patients during the phlebotomy process
• Provide compassionate and professional patient care throughout the procedure
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate specimen collection
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area

Testing Experience:

• Proven experience as a Phlebotomist or in a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of phlebotomy procedures, laboratory techniques, and medical terminology
• Proficient in venipuncture techniques and blood sampling methods
• Familiarity with different types of blood collection tubes and their uses
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
