The Workforce Development and Lifelong Learning Department of Middlesex College invites applications for part-time, non-credit instructors to teach the following course:

Phlebotomy Important:

Please note that a non-credit instructor is not an adjunct position. Successful candidates teach courses in the Workforce Development and Lifelong Learning Department.

Primary Responsibilities:

The ability to teach 25 hours per week (Monday to Friday) and a one (1) day externship orientation, which includes the following subject areas: Anatomy, Physiology, and Medical Terminology Safe collection of blood and other specimens Venipuncture technique Basic laboratory procedures

Minimum Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent Previous teaching experience Experience teaching adult learners Three (3) years of experience working as a Phlebotomy Technician or Medical Laboratory Technician Current certification as a Phlebotomy Technician or Medical Laboratory Technician Ability to teach in

Edison, New Brunswick, or Perth Amboy Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree Familiarity with teaching Online via Zoom and/or CANVAS Experience teaching in higher education
