A typical day for a Burn Technician may include: Administering daily hydrotherapy and dressing changes of all adult and pediatric burn patients, Performing wound care on designated consults and wound management cases throughout the medical center. Assisting Registered Nurses with patient care as assigned by Nurse Manager or Clinical Coordinator, Reinforcing patient teaching initiated by Registered Nurses during wound care.
