Phlebotomist - Little Egg Harbor Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist for a patient service center in Little Egg Harbor The role involves drawing blood from patients of all ages and processing samples efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Draw blood from patients of all ages, handling 150-180 sticks per day between the staff. Process samples, including bagging, pipetting to transfer tubes, and pouring off urines. Utilize venipuncture techniques to collect blood specimens. Ensure accurate labeling and processing of specimens. Collaborate with other team members to provide exceptional patient care. Essential Skills Phlebotomy certification Proficiency in blood draw and venipuncture techniques Experience in healthcare settings Strong blood drawing skills Additional Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of phlebotomy experience Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Experience with pediatric patients and all age ranges Preferable to use straight needles, but flexibility to use butterfly needles if needed Work Environment The work environment is a busy patient service center located in Little Egg Harbor. The position requires on-site attendance from Monday to Friday, from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. The center experiences high patient volume, necessitating efficient and quick-paced work. Employees have opportunities for upward mobility within the network of IOPs and PSCs, and there is potential for future transfers. The center is part of a leading diagnostic lab in the country, known for its recent acquisitions and clinical research capabilities Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.94/hr.
