ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Collect and process venous and capillary samples from all patient age groups. Perform and document therapeutic phlebotomies. Document and record samples/results. Accession and process referral testing samples. Maintain records, files and route patient reports. Perform clerical duties as assigned. Participate and promote QA activities.

Phlebotomy skill and competency.

Demonstrates the basic knowledge and skills necessary to identify age-specific patient needs appropriate for this position.

ENVIROMENTAL CONDITIONS
Work environment consists of daily patient contact, which may include exposure to blood, or other body fluids.
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education
  • High school graduate or equivalent; formal phlebotomy training preferred. Work Experience
  • 6 months phlebotomy preferred. Training
  • N/A License/Certification
  • Certified Phlebotomist, CMA, EMT-B preferred.
Qualifications:
