The ideal candidate is organized, friendly, comfortable working with patients, and experienced with both medical assisting and blood draws.

Responsibilities Include:

Greet and prepare patients for appointments Obtain and document vital signs Perform venipuncture and blood collection Properly label, handle, and prepare specimens Assist with patient intake and medical histories Maintain clean and organized exam and laboratory areas Follow infection-control and safety procedures Assist providers and clinical staff as needed Maintain accurate patient documentation Provide professional and compassionate customer service

Qualifications:

Medical Assistant training or certification preferred Phlebotomy training and experience required Experience performing successful venipuncture Strong communication and customer-service skills Dependable and punctual Able to maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus We're Looking for
