Job Description
Wings of Love Services Lab Assistant Position Summary 1 full-time & 1 Part-time Wings of Love Services is looking for a dependable, professional Lab Assistant to support our drug testing, fingerprinting, and workforce compliance services. This position works directly with customers, businesses, and staff while making sure testing procedures, paperwork, billing, and records are completed correctly. Job Responsibilities Perform urine and oral fluid drug collections. Perform instant drug screens and prepare specimens for laboratory testing. Complete BCI and FBI fingerprinting using Live Scan equipment. Assist customers with TSA PreCheck, TWIC, Hazmat, and other enrollment services. Complete breath alcohol testing when trained and authorized. Follow proper chain-of-custody procedures for all drug testing. Verify customer identification and required documents. Enter customer and testing information into required systems. Maintain accurate and confidential customer records. Prepare paperwork and specimens for CRL, LabCorp, Quest, and other laboratory partners. Provide mobile and on-site drug testing services when needed. Assist business clients with employee testing and compliance services. Process invoices and assist with monthly billing for company accounts. Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist walk-in customers. Maintain inventory of drug testing, fingerprinting, and office supplies. Marketing Keep the laboratory and customer areas clean, organized, and professional. Follow HIPAA, confidentiality, safety, and company policies. Assist with marketing and building relationships with local businesses when needed. Complete other office and laboratory duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Strong customer service and communication skills. Comfortable working with computers and learning different testing systems. Able to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate records. Must be dependable, organized, and professional. Must be able to protect confidential customer information. Drug testing, fingerprinting, healthcare, or laboratory experience is preferred but not required. Training and certification may be provided for qualified candidates.
