About Centerville Clinics Centerville Clinics is a nonprofit health center network serving communities throughout southwestern Pennsylvania. Since 1955, we've provided high-quality medical, dental, and behavioral health services to individuals and families—regardless of income or insurance. With twelve medical, five dental, and ten behavioral health sites across Fayette, Greene, and Washington counties, we make it easier for patients to access the care they need, close to home. Centerville Clinics is looking for a full-time Laboratory Assistant to work at our main Clinic in Fredericktown, PA.
Qualifications:
  • Technical training and certification preferred.
  • Individual must have 10+ years experience as a phlebotomist.
  • Responsible for collection of patient samples for the lab.
  • Responsible for keeping specimen records as required by the Laboratory Department and regulatory agencies.
  • Will be responsible to register, order tests, label and collect patient samples correctly.
  • This employee is a vital member of the training team to ensure continual improvement in the laboratory area.
  • Register patients, orders tests, labels and collects patient samples correctly.
  • Performs order entry, insurance evaluation and account merging, venipuncture, on patients of all ages.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Pay:
$18.83 per hour
