Requirement:
You Must Be Excellent at Drawing Blood We can train the right person on many aspects of this position, but strong phlebotomy skills are essential . You should be confident drawing blood from a wide variety of patients, including patients who may be considered a "difficult stick." Most days involve approximately 10-12 blood draws , although on particularly busy procedure days, that number can occasionally reach 20-25 draws during a 8-10-hour day . What You'll Do This is much more than a blood-draw position. You'll work directly with our physicians and clinical team and help keep our procedure days organized, efficient, and running on time.
Responsibilities include:
Performing venipuncture and blood draws Processing and preparing blood for PRP (platelet-rich plasma) procedures Centrifuging/spinning blood according to established clinical protocols Assisting physicians with joint and other office-based injection procedures Preparing treatment and procedure rooms Helping manage patients before, during, and after procedures Maintaining appropriate clinical and procedure supplies Monitoring inventory and ordering supplies before they run low Maintaining a clean, organized, efficient clinical environment Assisting with other medical assistant responsibilities as needed PRP experience is helpful but not required. We will train the right person. Who We're Looking For Technical ability matters, but personality and work ethic matter just as much. We are looking for someone who is: Highly skilled and confident with blood draws Upbeat, energetic, and positive Friendly and reassuring with patients Able to multitask in a busy clinical environment Organized and detail-oriented Dependable and punctual Comfortable working closely with physicians Able to anticipate what needs to be done rather than waiting to be told A genuine team player who enjoys helping patients Previous medical assistant, phlebotomy, nursing, laboratory, or procedure-room experience is preferred. Schedule Thursdays and Fridays This position is currently two days per week, 8- 10 hours depending upon the procedure schedule. Compensation Pay is commensurate with experience and skill level. We also offer performance-based bonuses for team members who demonstrate exceptional reliability, productivity, patient care, and contribution to the practice. About Our Practice Pain Relief & Wellness Strategies Center is a multidisciplinary medical practice focused on advanced, non-surgical treatment options for spine, joint, and nerve conditions. Our clinical team includes MD, DO, and DC physicians working together in a busy, patient-focused environment.
