Job Summary:
The Workforce Development (WFD) Instructor- Medical Assisting/Phlebotomy provides classroom and/or lab instruction to adult learners in medical assisting and phlebotomy coursework.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree; 5 years of medical assistant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Licensing Requirements:

1-year teaching experience Possess a nationally-recognized medical assistant certificationJob Specific Task List:
Deliver instruction in medical assisting and phlebotomy theory, procedures, and clinical skills- (Essential) Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with workforce development and certification standards (e.g., MA and CPT competencies)
- (Essential) Provide hands-on instruction in clinical skills such as venipuncture, specimen collection, vital signs, and basic clinical procedures
- (Essential) Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to support skill development and certification readiness
