SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Penn State Health Lime Spring Clinic is located in iconic Lancaster, PA! Acting primarily as a general medicine office with Orthopedics, Endocrinology, and Infectious Diseases as featured sub-specialties, the Lime Spring Clinic is seeking a Phlebotomist to join the team. This clinic sees an average of 300 patients/day. The hired Phlebotomist will be expected to fulfill their regular work schedule as well as work one late evening/week and complete a Saturday rotation once a month. The Phlebotomist will be expected to draw labs and input orders for outside orders. The Phlebotomist will be expected to prepare patient charts and order all needed laboratory equipment, as needed. The ideal Phlebotomist will demonstrate strong customer service skills and display reliability and consistency in their work. Interested? Apply Now!
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
(S): High School Diploma or equivalent required. Six (6) months of clinical experience required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
(S): Glucose and pediatric collection experience preferred. Certification in Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant preferred. General computer skills preferred. Basic Life Support certification preferred.
