Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a positive first impression Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems, coordinating seating plans to optimize flow and wait times Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or restaurant policies Handle cashier duties accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing payments swiftly and securely Maintain organized table management through restaurant table management systems, ensuring efficient seating and turnover Answer phone inquiries professionally, utilizing proper phone etiquette to assist with reservations or general questions Uphold food safety standards and ensure cleanliness in all areas related to guest interactions and cashier stations Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or in food service roles with strong guest relations skills Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management systems Experience operating POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, with basic math skills for handling transactions Excellent communication skills, including phone communication and etiquette Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, seating arrangements, and cashier duties effectively Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards to ensure guest satisfaction and safety Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and friendliness Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by combining your hospitality talent with your organizational prowess!
