This is a great opportunity for an experienced phlebotomist looking for a consistent part-time schedule in a research-focused environment. Position Summary The Phlebotomist will perform venipuncture and collect blood and other biological specimens from healthy volunteers to support laboratory research activities. The selected candidate will work closely with research and laboratory staff while following approved protocols, SOPs, and applicable regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable working independently, and able to provide a positive experience for research volunteers.

Onsite Key Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and collect human biological samples according to approved research protocols. Use an electronic donor scheduling system to manage daily schedules, sample requests, volunteer information, and daily work activities. Administer informed consent forms to clinical trial volunteers and address questions as appropriate. Accurately document and track sample collections using required FDA tracking logs. Perform data entry, record keeping, records management, and document archiving. Maintain accurate and complete documentation in accordance with established procedures. Perform quarterly laboratory safety checks. Maintain strict confidentiality and protect the privacy and anonymity of research volunteers. Communicate issues or concerns to the supervisor in a timely manner. Maintain knowledge of current methods and techniques relevant to phlebotomy and specimen collection. Maintain current First Aid/CPR certification. Follow all applicable GxP, FDA, EHSS, OSHA, HIPAA, and IRB requirements. Work under supervision while demonstrating day-to-day autonomy. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience performing venipuncture and blood specimen collection. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams. Ability to accurately maintain records and complete documentation. Ability to follow SOPs, research protocols, and regulatory requirements. Current First Aid/CPR certification or ability to maintain certification as required. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a clinical research, laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare environment. Experience working with electronic scheduling or clinical trial systems. Familiarity with GxP, FDA, HIPAA, OSHA, EHSS, or IRB requirements. Experience collecting and documenting research specimens.
