We are hiring for Phlebotomist II Phlebotomist II Join a fast-paced laboratory or hospital team where you'll play a key role in delivering accurate, high-quality patient care. The Phlebotomist II is responsible for performing venipuncture, capillary collections, specimen processing, and sample handling while ensuring patient comfort and specimen integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform blood collections using straight and butterfly needles for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Collect, label, process, centrifuge, store, and prepare specimens for testing and transport. Verify patient information, physician orders, and laboratory requisitions for accuracy. Maintain compliance with OSHA, DEP, HIPAA, and laboratory safety standards . Document patient and specimen information accurately in laboratory systems. Support workflow improvements, troubleshoot specimen issues, and assist with staff training when needed.

Qualifications:

3+ years of phlebotomy experience in a hospital, laboratory, or high-volume clinical setting. Strong experience with all blood collection tube types , specimen processing, and handling. Comfortable working with pediatric and geriatric patients . Excellent attention to detail, communication, and customer service skills. Phlebotomy certification preferred. High School Diploma or GED required. Why Join?
