Duties Perform blood sampling through venipuncture and capillary collection using aseptic techniques to ensure specimen integrity. Collect and process specimens accurately according to laboratory procedures and protocols. Measure vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to assist clinicians with patient assessments. Provide exceptional patient service by explaining procedures clearly, ensuring comfort, and maintaining a professional yet friendly demeanor. Maintain detailed records of specimen collection, patient information, and test orders with precision. Follow all laboratory techniques and safety procedures to uphold the highest standards of patient care and specimen handling. Communicate effectively with healthcare providers regarding specimen status or any patient concerns during visits. Experience Prior experience in a clinical laboratory setting, hospital environment, or mobile tech is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in laboratory procedures, venipuncture, and blood sampling techniques. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques to ensure accurate specimen collection and patient safety. Experience working directly with patients, providing compassionate care while managing multiple collections efficiently. Familiarity with hospital protocols and laboratory techniques that support quality assurance and compliance standards. Strong understanding of vital signs measurement and basic physiology to contribute effectively within healthcare teams.
