Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Certified Phlebotomist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities Perform blood draws using venipuncture techniques with accuracy and professionalism while maintaining patient comfort. Collect, label, process, and transport specimens following strict laboratory procedures and aseptic techniques to ensure sample integrity. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient information, and specimen handling in accordance with clinical laboratory standards. Provide exceptional patient service by explaining procedures clearly, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive experience. Follow all safety protocols related to infection control, bloodborne pathogens, and laboratory techniques to uphold a safe environment. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely processing of specimens and accurate test results. Requirements Certification as a Phlebotomist from an accredited program is required; valid certification must be maintained throughout employment, or 2 years experience.as a phlebotomist. Proven laboratory experience with knowledge of laboratory techniques, specimen collection/processing, and clinical laboratory procedures. Maintain a professional and respectful relationship with all laboratory staff and colleagues. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate compassion during specimen collection. Familiarity with vital signs measurement, aseptic technique, venipuncture procedures, and blood sampling methods. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards and maintaining attention to detail.
