Job Description

Job Summary:
The Mobile Collector/Phlebotomist serves as a field representative of Phase2 Labs, traveling to various physician offices, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare locations. This role requires flexibility, independence, and professionalism while delivering accurate and timely specimen collection services.
Responsibilities:
Professionally represent Phase2 Labs while working in diverse healthcare environments • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, facility staff, and patients across assigned locations Demonstrate "buy-in" to company culture and uphold Phase2 Labs' standards of quality and integrity Perform venipuncture, fingerstick, and other specimen collection techniques efficiently and safely in varied settings Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and confidence during mobile visits Accurately label specimens, complete electronic or paper requisitions, and document all collections according to protocol Prepare, package, and transport specimens in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and Phase2 Labs shipping regulations Maintain proper chain-of-custody documentation for all specimens collected Safely operate company or personal vehicle and manage daily route schedules to ensure on-time collections Maintain field inventory of collection and PPE supplies; restock as needed to ensure readiness Communicate proactively with dispatch, laboratory personnel, and site contacts to ensure workflow efficiency Adhere to HIPAA, infection control, and safety protocols at all times Exhibit compassion, adaptability, and professionalism when interacting with patients and facility staff in varying environments Participate in ongoing training and competency assessments to maintain phlebotomy proficiency and compliance Track mileage and complete mileage log accurately
