Job Description

Endocrinology Consultants of East Tennessee is a privately owned, busy endocrinology practice in Maryville seeking an experienced Full-Time Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of phlebotomy experience, excellent patient care skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical office environment. We offer a positive, supportive, team-oriented work environment with a consistent schedule and excellent work-life balance. This position does not require regular weekends or holidays.
Schedule Monday-Thursday:
7:00 AM - 5:00
PM Friday:
7:30 AM - 10:00 AM Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and specimen collection accurately and safely Properly label, process, and prepare specimens for testing Assist with daily laboratory operations Provide professional and compassionate patient care Follow laboratory, safety, and infection-control procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked laboratory area Assist with other clinical and laboratory duties as needed Work collaboratively with nurses, providers, and other members of the healthcare team Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience Strong venipuncture and specimen collection skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team Previous medical office or laboratory experience preferred Benefits Competitive pay Paid time off Paid holidays Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance 401(k) with employer matching Referral program Uniform allowance Continuing education allowance Daily free lunch Employee engagement activities and events throughout the year No regular weekends or holidays If you are an experienced phlebotomist looking for a stable position with predictable hours and a supportive team, we would love to hear from you!
