The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in various medical settings, including clinics, urgent care facilities, and hospitals. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as emergency medicine and geriatrics. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and administering injections. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical regulations. Support medical administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling medical coding. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Provide basic life support when necessary and assist in emergency situations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within Level I Trauma Centers and other healthcare facilities. Skills Proficient in medical terminology relevant to various specialties including clinic, emergency medicine, geriatrics, hospital medicine, and urgent care. Experience or knowledge of coding practices for accurate billing processes. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to perform basic life support techniques confidently. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
