ASAP Position Overview:
A specialty clinic in Dallas, TX is seeking a dependable and skilled Laboratory Assistant to support clinical operations across multiple locations. This role requires strong phlebotomy experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced patient care environment. This is a floating position, with the expectation to rotate between clinic locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform phlebotomy/blood draws for approximately 35 patients per day Conduct waived testing, including urine dipstick and coagulation testing Process lab samples and ensure accurate documentation Utilize lab systems for daily operations Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards Perform quality control procedures on lab analyzers Float between multiple clinic locations as needed
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years of phlebotomy experience High School Diploma or equivalent Experience with urine dip and coagulation testing
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant experience Experience with hard-to-draw ("hard stick") patients
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Dress Code:
Solid color scrubs
