Position Summary Field Diagnostics is seeking a dependable, professional, and detail-oriented Specimen Collector to join our growing team. This position is responsible for performing specimen collections including phlebotomy, urine drug screening, DNA collections, and mobile collection services while ensuring compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in both clinic and mobile environments. Schedule may be 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., approximately 35 hours weekly. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections on patients of all ages Conduct urine drug screen collections following proper chain-of-custody procedures Perform DNA specimen collections using buccal swab and/or other approved collection methods Prepare, label, package, and ship specimens according to laboratory and company standards Maintain accurate documentation and patient records Verify patient identity and ensure proper specimen handling procedures are followed Provide mobile collection services at client locations, homes, workplaces, and other designated sites Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines Assist with front office and administrative duties including scheduling, answering phones, filing, data entry, and client communication Maintain cleanliness and organization of collection areas and equipment Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, HIPAA, and company policies and procedures Travel locally as required for mobile collections Perform other duties as delegated by management Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Phlebotomy certification preferred Previous specimen collection or healthcare experience preferred Knowledge of urine drug screen collection procedures preferred Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic computer and administrative skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds Ability to perform repetitive hand movements and venipuncture procedures Ability to travel to off-site/mobile collection locations Schedule Full-time and part-time opportunities available Some early morning, evening, or weekend availability may be required based on business needs Benefits Competitive pay Flexible scheduling Opportunities for growth and advancement Hands-on healthcare experience in a growing company Field Diagnostics is an equal opportunity employer and values professionalism, integrity, and compassionate patient care.Similar jobs in Del Rio, TX
