Job Description
Phlebotomist Labcorp

Work Schedule:
Monday- Thursday 8:00am
- 5:30pm; Friday 8:00
- 2:30pm (additional hours/ rotating Saturdays required as needed)
Job Responsibilities:
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform Urinalysis dips and pregnancy kit tests Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when neededMinimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:
1 or more years' phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environment 6 months or more OB/GYN experience Current or prior LabCorp experienceAdditional Job Standards:
In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Flexibility to work overtime as needed Able to work in a fast paced / high volume work environment Be 21 years of age or older Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record Exceptional customer service Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision This role will work in our client's office setting to provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. - Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics
