Job Description

We are seeking a dependable Medical Assistant to support our pediatric and adult allergy practice in Keller, Texas. The ideal candidate must be confident drawing blood from children—including patients as young as 2 years old—and willing to work at both our Keller and Arlington locations. Main locations will be Keller, but starting will need hours in Las Colinas and Arlington.

Keller, TX Pay:
$21-$23 per hour, based on experience
Travel:
Regular travel between Keller and Arlington is required
Responsibilities:
Check patients in and out at the front desk Assist pediatric and adult patients with food allergy appointments and other allergy-related visits Perform standard clinical and administrative Medical Assistant duties Draw blood from children and adults Prepare and process blood specimens Coordinate patient flow, appointments, testing, and follow-up needs Learn and perform food testing and allergy testing Learn and perform spirometry and FeNO testing for pediatric and adult patients Maintain accurate patient records Communicate professionally with patients, parents, providers, and staff Train and work at both practice locations
Qualifications:
Medical Assistant training or relevant clinical experience Proven ability to draw blood from pediatric patients, including children as young as 2 Comfortable working with both children and adults Strong front-desk, communication, and organizational skills Dependable, professional, and willing to learn Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Able to travel between the Keller and Arlington locations Pre-PA or pre-med candidates are preferred Previous pediatric, allergy, or phlebotomy experience is preferred The practice will provide training in food testing, allergy testing, spirometry, and FeNO testing.
Pay:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
