Jacksonville Tx M-F 8:30a-5:00p Tyler Tx M-F 8:00a-5:30p
Responsibilities:
  • Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood samples
  • Verify patient information and ensure proper identification before sample collection
  • Label and properly store collected specimens for laboratory testing
  • Follow established protocols for specimen handling and processing
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, test requisitions, and specimen collection
  • Monitor patient vital signs during the phlebotomy process
  • Provide clear instructions to patients regarding sample collection procedures
  • Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines at all times
  • Assist with inventory management of phlebotomy supplies
Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Phlebotomist in a clinical laboratory or hospital setting
  • Proficient in phlebotomy techniques and blood sampling procedures
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and laboratory techniques
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment and specimen collection processing
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in specimen labeling and documentation
