Mobile Phlebotomist AMG Senior Medical Group - 5.0 Ogden, UT Job Details Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications Vascular access Working with geriatric patients Working with seniors Driver's License Geriatrics Stakeholder relationship building Cross-functional communication Full Job Description Position Summary The Mobile Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting blood and other specimens, ensuring proper specimen handling, transporting specimens to local laboratories, documenting services, and coordinating directly with the AMG operations team to provide timely diagnostic support for our Home-Based Primary Care patients. Essential Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and specimen collection in patients' homes and assisted living communities. Collect blood, urine, and other ordered specimens. Properly label, process, package, and transport specimens to designated laboratories. Coordinate daily schedules and routes with the AMG operations team. Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record. Communicate collection issues, redraws, or patient concerns to the clinical team. Ensure specimen integrity through proper handling and transportation. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment. Build positive relationships with patients, caregivers, facility staff, and providers. Maintain HIPAA compliance and infection prevention standards. Represent AMG professionally throughout the community. Daily Responsibilities Review daily assignments and optimized route. Travel throughout assigned territory completing scheduled collections. Coordinate directly with assisted living communities and residential patients. Deliver specimens to the nearest contracted laboratory. Document completed collections and unresolved orders. Prepare for the following day's schedule before ending the workday.
