Position Summary:
We are looking for a motivated, outgoing, candidate to join our phlebotomy team to assist us in providing the best patient laboratory experience. As one of our team members you will provide support with the daily activities of the medical laboratory. As part of providing courteous and friendly service daily with multiple patients, we expect that you will maintain a professional image in appearance and conduct and balance team and individual responsibilities to contributes to a positive work environment. Because you will interact with all ranges of patients and co-workers must have excellent communication skills to interact effectively. Employee scrub allowance is given upon hire.
Essential Job Functions:
Perform laboratory specimen collection on all patient age groups in our Salen & Spanish Fork location. Assist with receptionist and clerical duties as needed Assist with stocking and ordering supplies Must be able to lift 20 pounds routinely and stand for long periods of time Specimen processing for testing and shipment to reference laboratory testing Adherence to policies and procedures associated with the position
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required Graduation from an accredited medical vocational institution with phlebotomy course diploma and/or previous experience Certified phlebotomist preferred Previous phlebotomy work experience preferred
Hours:
Employees routinely work 8 hr. shifts Monday - Friday (Anytime between 0730-1745). Shift lengths may vary as well.
